The forecast calls for strong winds blowing out to right in Philly on Monday night, which is worrisome, but I'm taking solace in Miles Mikolas' 51.6% groundball rate, as well as his extremely low walk rate of 2.7%. As for Phillies starter Nick Pivetta, he's much better at home, posting an ERA of 3.13 in 46 innings at Citizen's Bank.

This is more of a principle play than anything, as I tend to favor AL teams at home against NL teams. The difference in DH is usually significant. If you'd like some numbers to support this particular pick, it doesn't hurt that Angels hitters currently have an OPS of .853 against Zack Greinke as well as a wOBA of .365 either.

While Ian Kennedy hasn't been good, he's been better at home, and he's held Rangers hitters to a wOBA of .240 and OPS of .562. Bartolo Colon, meanwhile, enters tonight contest having allowed 25 ER in his last 23.2 IP. Take the Royals at home.

Dylan Covey has been a pleasant surprise for the White Sox, but his two weakest starts since returning to Chicago have come against the division-leading Indians. Now Cleveland hitters will see Covey for the third time in three weeks. Meanwhile, Trevor Bauer gets the start for Cleveland, and he's dominated the White Sox in his career, holding current White Sox hitters to a .576 OPS and .231 wOBA.

The Athletics offense is not good against lefties. Oakland hitters have a wOBA of .297 and an OPS of .684 against them this season. Their numbers are even worse against Angels starter Andrew Heaney. It?s not a large sample, but in 31 plate appearances against Heaney, Athletics hitters are slashing .103/.161/.207.
